Snoop Dogg is no stranger to the metaverse.
Snoop Dogg’s Metaverse Vision
In The Sandbox is where Snoop chooses to begin his Metaverse journey. The Sandbox is one of the more mainstream Metaverse on the Ethereum blockchain. It is currently the third biggest metaverse available. It offers its users the possibility of owning, creating, trading, and using an incredible variety of virtual items. That ranges from wearables and accessories to estates on plots called LAND. All the above is facilitated by an immersive, vast virtual reality that unlocks exciting opportunities for all players.
Snoop Dogg + Eminem made an astonishing Metaverse video showed the first clear signs of supporting various Web 3.0 elements, like NFTs, conventional crypto tokens, and the idea of decentralized virtual realities, in September 2021, when he seemingly joined The Sandbox and started collecting NFTs. Fast forward to mid 2022, and Snoop has launched his very own virtual world, Snoopverse. The rapper is clearly a believer in the longevity and future implications of such virtual items and realities.
Exploring Snoopverse, Snoop Dogg’s World
In cooperation with The Sandbox, Snoop launched his very own sub-world called Snoopverse, where everything was set up according to his vision. Snoop Dogg tends to follow the “go big or go home” motto, and this case was no exception. He didn’t only come to be an average user, he wanted something much more than that. This was not an unpopular idea among other members of The Sandbox.
Slim Shady is joining the Metaverse, and it’s all thanks to Snoop Dogg. The West Coast legend’s son Cordell Broadus shared a video on Twitter of his father speaking to Eminem on his iPhone, and by the end of Snoop’s smoke-filled conversation, the two Super Bowl performers had reached an understanding. To sum up, we will hopefully see in the near future what Eminem’s next moves in the Metaverse will be.
